Impressive Red Book CD Audio (and Laserdisc) Music in Games

Impressive CD Audio Music By Year (from 1988 onwards, scroll down on each page)

Note that only Saturn and PS1 are being checked in detail for redbook audio and other audio formats used at the moment (see their audio format pages), will have to check games for the other platforms later.
For now, if it's a multiplatform game where the SAT & PS1 versions use redbook it's likely that's the case on the other systems too.

Also note that "midi-based", "synth-based" or "mod-based" in this context means such instruments were likely used, not that it's a mix of redbook cd audio and some other audio format being used at the same time. A bunch of earlier redbook OSTs were basically touched up midi recordings, likely due to lower budgets prohibiting proper studio productions.
