Overall Score-7
+
Dark 80s anime atmosphere
Interesting weapons system (a force field that can also be used as a boomerang)
Some interesting bosses
Large levels with alternate paths through them
Hidden items
Good enemy AI overall
-
Trial & error (boat ride, no mid-air control when jumping (like in Ghouls 'n Ghosts)
No knockback or invincibility time after taking a hit (like in Turrican 1) - takes it even further by making enemies do double damage at the moment you're hit but then slowly regenerating half of the damage taken (means you die in about 4 hits if you get crowded)
No other weapons than the force field and sword
No options
The low time limit doesn't allow for a lot of exploring
Somewhat repetitive
