Two Crude Dudes (MD)

Picture
Graphics-7 Sound-7.5 Control-6.5 Challenge-7.5

Level Design-7 Frustration-7.5/8* Fun-7.5/7* Originality-7

Overall Score-7

*1-player

+ 2-player cooperative, difficulty options, humorous, decent variation, throw enemies and background objects, some large sprites, evil santa, fast paced, roll move, mini-bosses, elevator sequence, cyber punk theme

+/- Need to punch a soda machine to regain health after each stage, boss gauntlet before the finale (not all of them though), regular attacks are mostly useless

- Some trial & error (traps, boss patterns), some enemies are much more manoeuvrable than you are, somewhat sloppy hit detection, so-so jump control (two different heights), most enemies fall for the same trick (switch floor and grab them as they jump towards you), the dogs and dwarves, some unavoidable hits (at least in 1-player), minor slowdown, lacks combos, somewhat lame ending
