Overall Score-8

+
Great 2-player co-op action
combo attacks
crisp sound effects (you feel it when they go down)
some large and detailed bosses
memorable settings overall
good art direction, makes impressive use of the sound chip, 4 different characters, good animation and use of colour, mini-bosses,
streamlined presentation

+/-
Your avatar drops its weapon from performing throws or body slams
can't fight vertically/sideways (to some degree you can but only with certain attacks),

-
Somewhat repetitive and slow (no pits to throw enemies in and levels mostly lack unexpected events or environmental hazards)
should’ve had a run button/double tap run for all characters
somewhat unbalanced characters
a few control quirks (can’t jump sideways or strafe quickly (SoR 3)
need to face the direction you want to run/blitz in before doing it as Skate
no option when grabbed from behind that doesn’t cause damage to your avatar (SoR3)), scratchy voice samples overall, no more police squad special attacks
