+ Cool set pieces (surfing/hover board through a storm, Strider style mechanics and visuals (some Ninja Spirit and Sonic thrown in as well with the bouncers and holograms of the player), great variation, fast paced and pretty intense, smart bombs, good animation and use of colour, upgrade attacks (holograms) and health bar, slide move (invulnerability against some stuff)
-Smart bombs are pretty broken (bosses go down in two hits), uneven difficulty curve (suddenly at the final level there’s a check point system so you can’t credit feed anymore – it’s also one hell of a frustrating level), unavoidable attacks (hovering witches in final level, robot boss before final level), heavy trial & error, poorly told story (odd timing on scenes, poor script), strange running mechanic (you start running after walking for a few seconds), reuses some ideas within the game (and some mechanics from Strider), no ranged attack or range increase on melee attack
