*Sega CD

+ Good presentation (animations between stages, captures the look of the old cartoons near perfectly), some interesting level design (moose hunt, minor puzzles), difficulty options, good variation, respawn on the spot after death, well made 3D and mode 7-like effects, tight control (no delay when turning around or jumping, good jump height and bounce control), hidden bonus games (mad doctor, band concert),

+/- Slight delay when throwing balls, worse controls when running from the moose (somewhat unresponsive left/right movement, no jump height control), no FMV from the cartoons, only 1 credit on normal or hard mode (3 on easy, extra lives are also pretty rare),

- Some stages are pretty short, Mickey can't run/do running jumps (he walks pretty fast though), simple bosses, most stages don't have bosses, sloppy hit detection (sometimes forgiving though), can't shoot while ducking or shoot up/down, pretty lame ending, hard mode only adds HP to some enemies, some trial & error (2nd stage elevator, tide water segment, enemy shots from off screen), somewhat lacking sound effects (explosions), a bit short (6 stages), sometimes inconsistent animation quality (mayflies, mansion explosion, springs at first boss, Mickey being damaged by regular attacks)

Sega CD version:
+ new content (sprites, voices, inbetween levels music clips),
- some scratchy and/or annoying voices,
