+ Multiple paths, finding the stars (extra HP) adds some replay value, Mickey blocks no longer disappear when thrown out of view, some innovative gameplay (shrink in size, switches that affect level layouts), front and back plane action (shinobi/wb3), hidden items, good length, pretty fast paced

+/- Lower res (check how it affects gameplay, if level design is adjusted)

- Mostly simple bosses, picking up blocks and initiating climbing is a bit slower than it should be, somewhat easier than on SMS, color palette is actually worse in some ways, no difficulty options, some stages are very short (flower field), some boring/tedious parts (lake level, you can fall down and have to repeat a long segment in the toy factory),

some delay in the controls after getting hit?
