+
2-player co-op
Transform into a mech/robocop-like after three levels (stronger weapon, gradually breaks apart when hit)
Shinobi/Rolling Thunder-style gameplay (double plane gameplay and balconies in some segments)
Pretty fast paced
Pretty good variation
Hostage situations (second boss)
Sub weapons (some act like smart bombs, very limited ammo)
Difficulty options (4 levels, starting lives options, coin worth options)
Decent intro cutscene and some neat level transitions
Bosses taunt you before fights (voice samples)
Some good bosses
+/-
"Shoot first, arrest later"
Can't aim diagonally (makes some parts where enemy turrets can kinda slow)
Move while shooting and while crouching
Limited ammo
Large sprites
Time limit (two difficulty levels)
Sub weapons can't be fired in mid-air
No blood
Sometimes forgiving hit detection (can get hit by rockets but run away from their blasts without taking damage)
Can’t move backwards in levels
-
Credits stop working in the last level
Very short invincibility time (flamethrower traps can hit you twice in a row)
Can't shoot downwards
Poor jump height control (high/grab jump is only slightly higher and the default height is pretty high)
The mech suit doesn't increase your healthbar
Shooting after jumping straight up makes you lose your mid-air jump control
No weapon inventory
No alternate main weapons
Somewhat muffled/lo-fi samples
Somewhat loose scrolling
Washed out colours
No sfx when hitting enemies (only when they die or sometimes none at all)
Some easy bosses (gorilla, conveyor belt machine, final boss)
Repeats the twin robots fight once
No samples used for the music
