Also features cameos from Golden Axe during Easy Mode.
+/- Deep Scan has been replaced with Periscope, a 3D recreation of an even older Sega coin operated game from 1968, predating most video games.
Dodonpachi – PS1: One annoyance is that in this version players will need to turn on the “Wait” option in the pause menu each time they begin, or else the game will run a bit too fast. Another inconvenience is that in 2P mode both participants must use the same ship – and even in 1P mode you’ve got to make your selection in the Options menu. /Racketboy
+ Saturn mode (stage 0, hidden boss)
+/- Arcade version slowdown removed on SAT, making it the hardest version /Racketboy (seems to have a bit of slowdown judging by YouTube videos (CGR review))

+ SAT version loads faster than NGCD/PS1 (2-5 seconds), somewhat improved AI on level 8
+/- Midi NG soundtrack instead of NGCD/PS1 arranged
- When selecting your fighting order, the highlighted character doesn't animate as it's supposed to, and both teams don't taunt each other when the order has finished being selected; The screen is slightly stretched (~5%), making things look ever so slightly ''tall'' and the edges of the screen are black strip; Slightly weaker sfx /Hurricane Higashi

Parodius Deluxe Pack (Parodius, Gokujou Parodius) – Also on PSP Collection
There’s an extra hidden level on both PS1 and SAT, some slowdown and load time in both versions /HG101
+ PS1 version has borders on Parodius 2
-No bathhouse level in Parodius or extra characters in Gokujou Parodius (SNES ver. has both of these)
Gamefaqs review of PS1 ver: "The one thing that keeps Parodius Deluxe Pack from being perfect is the fact that it slows down way too easily. This is not your normal, 500-sprites-on-the-screen-at-once slowdown. For one thing, the game slows down whenever a large sprite moves, which, during boss battles, is every second or so. The most annoying thing is that when the game slows down, the music skips like the CD is dirty. When I played this game for the first time - right after opening the factory-sealed case - not too far into it, the music started to skip. As you play for longer periods of time, the game slows down more often and the music becomes almost unbearable. The reset button was made for instances like this. The fact that you can only play through the game once or twice before it becomes slow and garbled brings the score down a bit."
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cZJZTobcSNs
(ePSXe, Fantastic Journey/Gokujō Parodius! - There's only minor slowdown but the music skips at times and the game itself sometimes locks up for a couple of frames at a time)
"SAT ver. has only one instance of major slowdown occurring (when the cat sub turns around and all the fish are on screen in the underwater section in Fantastic Journey (level 2))." /Gamefaqs

Silhouette Mirage (PS1) – More parallax and reflections on windows, better balanced (made much harder/tedious by Working Designs localization on PS1)
Shienryu/Geki-Oh Shooting King (PS1) - The Saturn port lacks the extra mini-modes from the PS1 port, and obviously doesn’t include the pseudo-sequel from Double Shienryu on the PS2, but it’s the only version to both retain Tate mode and save high scores, making it the preferred pickup for purists. /Racketboy
+ PS1 Shienryu is known to have added slowdown /BIL, SHMUPS.COM
- No transparencies on SS /ST Dragon, SHMUPS.COM
Strikers 1945 – Slowdown on PS1 /Racketboy, Limbrooke (SHMUPS.COM)

Soukyugurentai (PS1) – SAT: Stage attack mode, game options; PS1: Extra mode with new cutscenes, voices during stages, and an additional (overpowered) ship. On the downside it has worse graphics and sound, and extra slowdown. /Racketboy + The PS1 port is graphically inferior to the Saturn version and has extra slowdown. /Bulletmagnet, Llabnip, SHMUPS.COM
- PS1 port has an extra mode and ship (though the only extra content I detect in the former is added voice) /Bulletmagnet, SHMUPS.COM
Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together – SNES port
Taito Chase H.Q. Plus S.C.I. (ARC Ports) – SNES/AMI/GG/Etc.
Thunder Force V (PS1) – Leaning towards better on PS1
+ Some better graphics (extra parallax, more transparencies, fog effect in lvl 2), special pack comes with a music CD (TF1-4 remixes), less slowdown?, unaltered difficulty levels compared to US PS1 version (working designs – easy mode only goes to lvl 5 here), some levels have more color and detail on SAT, more responsive controls /ST Dragon, SHMUPS.COM, Shamrock99
- ... or slowdown in different places? PS1 version has an extra mode (Boss attack), art gallery, new FMV, better textures for the polygonal models, unlockable ships
+ Score system mangled on PS1 /Icarus, SHMUPS.COM
- SAT version has some terrible frame skipping (not slowdown, frame loss - frame loss is a lot more annoying)?, slightly muffled sfx on SAT, longer and better intro and ending cutscenes on PS1, story text and 3D boss model viewers on PS1, /Fighter17, SHMUPS.COM, Shamrock99
- The free range weapon is much less powerful against bosses on PS1 (compare the level 2/woods boss for example) whereas it takes them down in seconds on SAT
Twinkle Star Sprites (NG, NGCD) – Remade on PS2/DC with versus tournament, 2-player versus and online mode (JP only)
+ Saturn version has a new anime intro as well as the original Neo Geo intro. Modes of play include the arcade original as well as Saturn Story Mode (one extra character, less slowdown, more voice acting). Also is an OMAKE disc that’s packed full of art work from some contest held by ADK.

- Compared to Arcade: Missing some animation, somewhat worse sound quality, somewhat stiff controls /Tenshi No Shi; minor slowdown
X-Men Vs Street Fighter (ARC port) - PS1: Worse framerate, slowdowns, worse animation, limited tag team feature (http://www.gamefaqs.com/ps/199373-x-men-vs-street-fighter/reviews/review-2827)
